CARE CLOSER TO HOME

Hartley Corner Surgery is actively participating in new services designed to be more efficient and closer to home for most patients. These services are for medical problems that are not serious, but which are a little too complex for normal GP only care. They are often provided by consultants performing clinics in local doctors’ surgeries and sometimes by GPs who have a special interest in a particular field.
 

The purpose of this notice is to let you know that we are doing this and that for certain medical problems, we may well offer you the option of being referred to one of these community clinics.

The aim is to provide efficient, user-friendly services that avoid the need for a hospital visit. Please be reassured that these services in no way reduce our ability to refer more serious problems directly to local hospitals.

The services include the following:

Ophthalmology: Dr Ku Rama, Jenner Surgery, Farnborough

Minor Ops Clinic: Dr Brigg, Southlea Surgery, Aldershot

Vasectomy Clinic: Dr Brigg, Southlea Surgery, Aldershot

Dermatology Clinic: Dr Felix, Odiham Health Centre, Odiham

Cardiac Monitoring Service: Dr Lawrence, Border Practice, Aldershot

Community Cardiac Service: Dr De Verteuil, Milestone Surgery, Farnborough

Community Urology Service: Odiham Health Centre, Odiham

Community Gynaecology Service: Hook & Hartley Wintney

Musculoskeletal Medicine Clinic, Basingstoke
